Dreams Playa Mujeres Golf & Spa Resort is a family-friendly alternative to Secrets Moxche.
Dreams Playa Mujeres is an all-inclusive tropical dream with 500 large suites offering luxury on a large scale.
There are ten dining experiences and 13 bars and lounges, and 65,000 square feet swimming pools.
You’ll find there are lots to do for the kids, including an onsite water park, which is very popular – meaning that it makes an excellent option for a destination wedding in Mexico if you have kids coming.

Dreams Playa Mujeres is one of the best family-friendly wedding venues near Cancun.
For that reason, it’s extremely popular, and space is quite limited, so we recommend couples book at least 14-16 months in advance.

Nickelodeon Riviera Maya is the ultimate family beach escape, so you want to take advantage of this resort if you have many kids coming to your wedding.

The Hard Rock Riviera Maya has both an adults-only and a family-friendly option.

Working on the budget for your wedding is very important.
You want to be realistic, set a reasonable budget for yourself, and then try to stick to it!
The first question you must answer is how many guests you will have.
Knowing your guest count is the best starting place to help determine the budget.
As a loose guide, a destination wedding with under 30 guests will cost you $10,000 or under.
And for destination weddings with over 30 guests, you may look at something more like $15,000. However, some great options exist in Mexico, so we’re exploring all-inclusive wedding packages under $10,000 here.
It depends on the wedding venue you choose and their wedding packages, as the savings can add up.
For example, we recently had a couple with 186 guests, and the wedding only cost them $3,900.

Yes! The cost of your destination wedding largely depends on your guest count, but you can absolutely host a desitnation wedding for $10,000.
Being realistic (I know, that’s not that fun), if you’re guest count is 50 people or under, you’ll have a better likelihood of planning a wedding under $10K.
If you’re planning a wedding with 100+ guests, it’s more likely that you’ll spend $15,000 or more on your wedding.
It depends! Most resorts require a minimum 3-night stay at the resort, although many of our guests opt to stay for 4 or more nights to turn their trip into a longer vacation.
In the last year, we planned about 85 destination weddings and the average stay was about $1,200 per person for a 4-night stay on average.
That doesn’t include your flights to and from the destination, but often includes your resort stay, taxes, fees, and roundtrip ground transportation to and from the destination airport and resort.
