Here are some direct quotes from those who’ve gotten married at The Moon Palace Jamaica, highlighting the service and offering some useful advice:

“10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND HAVING YOUR WEDDING AT MOON PALACE JAMAICA!!! Or just going for a vacation! We will DEFINITELY be back!!!”

“My husband and I, and some family and friends, went swimming with the dolphins right at the resort Friday morning. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! We had our Welcome Cocktail Party on the South Beach on that Friday evening for 3 hours (we brought our own bluetooth speaker and created our own playlists prior to leaving the states using Spotify). Our next official event was on Saturday, the wedding rehearsal at 3pm (wedding party only) – I had a wedding hair pre-trial at 1pm in the Spa. Very glad I did so I could tell her what not to do… lol She was very nice though!”

“Reception went from 7-11pm at the Starlight garden… it was magical. We originally were not going to pay for a dance floor and just dance on the concrete…. HIGHLY recommend paying the extra for the dance floor… so glad we did.”

Why We Like it (pros/cons)

Here are the pros and cons of hosting your destination wedding at the Moon Palace Jamaica:

Cons

Let’s start with the cons, as there aren’t many, but they may be worth considering.

The Moon Palace has a stunning location on Jamaica’s northern coastline, offering bright sunshine throughout the day.

The downside of its location is that it takes about 90 minutes to get to the resort.

The other consideration for this resort when planning relates more to Jamaican laws than to this resort in particular.

Jamaica is NOT a suitable or safe country for LGBT individuals to travel or get married.

If this relates to you or any of your guests, venues in other countries, such as Mexico, may be more suitable for inclusive weddings.

Pros

While there aren’t many cons to this resort, there are fortunately a few more pros.

Couples are spoiled for choice at the Moon Palace, and because there are so many venues to choose from, there are options to suit every dream.

There’s also plenty of variation between these venues, offering indoor or outdoor, classic or modern, and large or small choices.

Hosting up to 900 guests on their beach is pretty impressive, and few resorts can make such accommodations.

The structure of The Moon Palace Resorts wedding packages also allows couples more control over their weddings.

The way their rewards program allows couples to decide where to allocate their free wedding essentials and complimentary private events means they can prioritize the things that matter to them.

This abundance of choice extends to the stay that guests have.

There’s so much for kids to do to stay entertained between the pools, supervised play areas, and The Dreamery.

Similarly, there is plenty of adult-oriented relaxation or excitement between the massive Awe Spa, bars, restaurants, and nightlife.

This makes it easier to invite all the guests you want, knowing there’s something for each one of them to enjoy.
