I was excited to spend a few days at Le Blanc Los Cabos recently to bring you the latest and greatest!
Located in Cabo San Lucas, a beautiful town on the southern tip of Mexico’s Baja Peninsula, Le Blanc Los Cabos offers couples a stunning backdrop for destination weddings.
As a 5-star, adults-only, all-inclusive resort, Le Blanc offers couples a wealth of amenities and activities to make their wedding one to remember.
Le Blanc Los Cabos is conveniently located about 25 minutes from the San José del Cabo International Airport, making it easy for your guests to arrive in time for the festivities.
When you book at least 4 nights at Le Blanc, you’ll receive complimentary transportation to and from the resort and the airport.
This makes arriving and departing super seamless, especially if you’re planning a wedding and worried about the ease for your guests.
There are currently two Le Blanc Spa Resorts — one in Cancun and one in Los Cabos. You’ll find many similarities, but also some key differences.
For me, I find Le Blanc Los Cabos to feel a bit bigger (it still maintains a boutique feeling!).
The resort has plenty of resorts, pools and areas for you to enjoy. The resort has just under 400 rooms so this would be considered a medium-sized resort.
Le Blanc Los Cabos offers couples an array of luxurious accommodations, from junior suites to Presidential Suites.
All rooms are equipped with modern amenities, and 98% of these rooms offer unparalleled views of the Sea of Cortez.
With its variety of room types and sizes, Le Blanc Los Cabos is the perfect destination for couples of all budgets.
The beach at Le Blanc Los Cabos is gorgeous. Full stop.
For couples considering Cabo versus Cancun, though, there’s a huge difference. Most beaches in Cabo are not swimmable due to the incredibly strong current.
The beach is great for lounging, but most resorts in Cabo are more geared toward time spent at the pool.
Regardless, the ocean in Cabo is a stunning backdrop for your wedding photos.
The resort is home to four luxurious swimming pools, including a heated infinity pool.
As I mentioned above, due to most beaches not being swimmable in Cabo, you’ll find most people hanging out around the pools during the daytime.
I love that at Le Blanc Los Cabos, they have plenty of staff roaming the pool area to offer drinks and snacks.
At certain points in the day, you’ll also find a taco cart and a churro cart, which are both delicious treats during your stay.
Le Blanc is an overall gorgeous resort but where it really shines is with your dining options.
While I was primarily traveling for work, I did have time to enjoy a few meals.
Some highlights were breakfast Ocean, where you have the most perfect backdrop while enjoying an a la carte breakfast.
I had sushi and Asian fusion food at Yama for lunch one day that was absolutely delicious, too.
And each morning, I stopped by K’akau, the coffee shop, with fresh-baked pastries.
The food is truly a standout at Le Blanc Los Cabos.
Le Blanc Los Cabos offers guests several bar options with some of the best mixologists in the region.
Enjoy signature cocktails and craft beers at poolside bars or sip on delicious margaritas indoor by the lounge or as you watch the sun set over the pools and the Sea of Cortez.
The resort offers unparalleled service and plenty of activities and entertainment for your wedding guests, including butler service, a full-service spa, a fitness center, and live music.
The butlers are incredible.
My butler was personable, helpful, and worked like a ninja – she quietly handled a few things I needed assistance with and then sent me a WhatsApp message when they were completed.
Especially when you’re here for your destination wedding, it’s helpful to have someone who knows the resort intimately and can handle little things as they arise.
At Le Blanc Los Cabos, couples can choose from several types of weddings, including beachfront ceremonies, civil ceremonies, and more intimate vow renewals. The resort also offers a variety of wedding packages designed to meet all budgets.
Here are some of the types of weddings available at Le Blanc Los Cabos:
Exchange your vows with the calming sound of waves and a beautiful backdrop at Blanc Beach. This venue can seat up to 200 guests for a ceremony, 300 guests for a cocktail reception, and 200 guests for a buffet dinner.
Another venue option is Blanc Terrace, which can accommodate up to 120 guests for a ceremony, held overlooking the Sea of Cortez. The Blanc Terrace can also hold a cocktail reception for 300 and a buffet dinner for 200.
Blanc Wind is another venue option, featuring an open-air terrace and stunning views of the Sea of Cortez. The Blanc Wind can hold up to 200 guests for a ceremony, 200 guests for a cocktail reception, and 120 guests for a buffet dinner.
Pool Terrace Wedding Ceremony
Say “I do” surrounded by lush foliage and sparkling pools at Blanc Pool Terrace or Palm Pool Terrace. Palm Pool Terrace can seat 50 guests for a ceremony, while Blanc Pool Terrace can accommodate up to 250 guests. After the ceremony, your guests can enjoy a buffet dinner at Blanc Pool Terrace for 170 guests or a cocktail reception for 50 at Palm Pool Terrace.
For a more formal affair, Le Blanc Los Cabos offers two ballroom options: Blanc Sand and Blanc Breeze.
Blanc Sand is our largest ballroom, with a capacity of 700 guests for a cocktail reception and 450 guests for a buffet dinner. This venue is ideal for larger weddings and is the perfect setting for an extravagant celebration.
For smaller weddings, there is Blanc Breeze, which can seat up to 80 guests for a cocktail reception, or 40 guests for a buffet dinner.
Many couples also ask me about “backup” options in case of rain. This is far more of a concern on the Caribbean side of Mexico as Cabo only gets rain about 12 days per year!
Regardless, your wedding coordinator will have a backup plan for your wedding, likely including the ballroom.
When you hold your wedding at Le Blanc Los Cabos, you can expect the highest level of service and attention. You don’t need to worry about a thing – their team of wedding planners will take care of everything from catering and entertainment to photo and video coverage to decorations and flower arrangements.
This is where their team really shines. Le Blanc Los Cabos understands nuanced details, design trends, and expertly coordinate celebrations for all types of weddings.
While some resorts offer fully built-out wedding packages, I prefer to design weddings a la carte at Le Blanc, working closely with their team to create the perfect, custom celebration.
They do have three signature wedding collections available at Le Blanc Los Cabos: Oceanside Elegance, Desert Dreams, and Complimentary Collection. These are design collections to make your selections simpler, but you’re not required to pick a collection.
Complimentary Amenities
At Le Blanc Los Cabos, they understand the importance of your special day and strive to make it amazing in every way. That’s why they offer a range of complimentary amenities to ensure your wedding is exactly what you’ve dreamed of.
These include services from a wedding specialist, a nondenominational minister to perform symbolic ceremonies, and much more, like breakfast in bed the morning after your wedding and a complimentary honeymoon package.
For brides, they offer two hours of access to our Blanc Spa bridal suite on the day of the wedding, and for grooms, they offer four hours of access to a hospitality suite. They also provide three additional hours of private events, sparkling wine during the ceremony, a basic audio system, and one semi-private dinner reservation for up to 20 guests.
And, if you want to relax before the big day, you can either have your trial makeup done or some spa treatments. They’re also happy to provide a complimentary dinner for the bride and groom on their wedding night.
